Right to erasure
If you wish to delete your data, you have the option to do so in the administration section of our software at my.avira.com. We will then erase your data in accordance with legal requirements.
However, we would like to point out that we are legally obliged to store certain data for longer periods of time [e.g., the retention period for accounting documents is currently 10 years (German Fiscal Code)].
Additionally, please note that we are able to block your data immediately; however, due to technical restrictions it may take up to 30 days to delete your data permanently. However, no legal obligations or rights of third parties may conflict with this deletion.
