The Avira documentation team requires a creative and committed intern to support the Avira documentation team in the field of translation and quality assurance.

Working student / intern (m/f) in the technical documentation department

Your tasks:

• Checking the technical documentation (user help, installation instructions, configuration guides etc.) for content, linguistic and formal correctness as well as completeness

• Performing software tests

• Documenting existing bugs and quality issues

• Translating and proofreading technical documentation and terminology

• Working closely with the localization team, development department, product management and support

Your qualifications:

• Student (m/f) of (Applied) Linguistics, Translation Studies, or Technical Writing

• Fluency in English

• Proven interest in computer software and software development

• Knowledge of at least one more language, such as Russian, Dutch, Turkish (native speakers preferred)

• Experience with terminology and translation memory databases (such as Across) is a plus

• Team-oriented (working in an international team)

• High level of care and reliability

• Independent and proactive

• Flexible
