Avira business products – new product portfolio

info-symbol
Information on supported systems.

Licensing with the new product portfolio for business customers is on a per-device basis, meaning that each device (clients and servers) that requires protection on the network is added for pricing purposes and to generate the license key.

New product portfolio overview:

Avira Antivirus Pro – Business Edition:
Protects against viruses and malware on desktop PCs, laptops, and netbooks.

Avira Antivirus Server:
Protects business files and customer data from malicious attacks.

Avira Antivirus for Endpoint:
Protects clients and file servers.

Avira Antivirus for Small Business:
Combined protection for desktop PCs, file servers, and email communications (Exchange Server).

Avira Antivirus Pro – Business Edition is compatible with Windows 10 and Mac OS X. Avira Antivirus Server supports Windows Server 2008 R2 and new generations of Server (2012/2012 R2). Terminal server support is currently not available.

The license is activated by means of an activation code (OTC) and the customer's email address via the product landing page. The license is only generated on activation of the OTC and not, as was the case with the old products, upon ordering.

The products can be managed via the web-based platform Avira Connect Web.
Avira Connect Web is recommended for smaller networks of up to 50 devices.

The management consoles are free to use for new customers and those renewing existing licenses. Existing customers wanting to use this console should contact their sales partner. Download a comparison sheet.

If you are currently using old Avira business products, be aware that you will need to uninstall them first before migrating to the new products.
