We are AMES or CleanPort users and have been forcibly migrated. Now we do not receive e-mails no more.

To ensure that the e-mail delivery runs smoothly again, follow the checklist.

The Hornetsecurity platform continues to accept your e-mails after forced migration. The e-mails will be sent to you as soon as you have adjusted your firewall and if necessary your settings. The platform tries to deliver the e-mails to your e-mail servers for one week.

Availability of your mail server

Is it possible to deliver e-mails from the Hornetsecurity platform to your mail server?
The following IP ranges must be approved for mail traffic:

  1. Range: with subnet mask,
    corresponding to addresses between and

  2. Range: with subnet mask,
    corresponding to addresses between and

  3. Range: with subnet mask,
    corresponding to addresses between and

  4. Range: with subnet mask,
    corresponding to addresses between and

The standard setting, unless otherwise specified, is port 25. This can of course be modified according to your requirements. Any TLS connections will be unaffected. Port 25 is also used for switching to TLS if this is offered by your mail server. The configuration can be checked using the Hornetsecurity firewall checker.

Enter e-mail server correctly

Are the e-mail servers in the control panel correctly listed on the new platform?

You have already received the access data for the control panel in a previous e-mail. https://control.hornetsecurity.com/

If you do not find this e-mail, please log in as follows.
As an AMES partner, your login name is “avira_yourname”.
For direct customers, the login name is the main domain.
Because the new password will be send by e-mail you first have to adapt your firewall setting.

The following points should be checked once again before the next step:

Are all alias domains created?

Is the IP or hostname of your mail server correct?

Outgoing e-mail

Is the IP address of the mail server entered and enabled for delivery?

You can also configure this in the control panel in the "Management" area.

If you have an SPF record please remember to add this:

“v=spf1 include:antispameurope.com ~all”

Now change the so-called Smart Host and also the Relay Server settings on your e-mail server for outgoing e-mails.
Hornetsecurity uses a hostname cluster for relaying with various connected load balancers:
