What is the difference between the report types Default, Extended and Complete?

With the different report types you can define which kind of information should be saved after the system scan, into the report file. In case you need more information about warnings and other different notifications, you can define this in the configuration.

Therefore, please proceed as follows:

  1. Click on the down left corner menu → PC Protection


     
  2. Click System ScannerReport


     
  3. Select the desired report type:
    • Default:
      When this option is activated, the Scanner logs the names of the concerning files and their path
       
    • Extended:
      When this option is activated, the Scanner logs alerts and tips in addition to the default information
      This option is useful, in case so called hidden objects have been found. During the system scan it's getting recorded where the hidden objects are found.
       
    • Complete:
      When this option is activated, the Scanner logs all scanned files. In addition, all files involved as well as alerts and tips are included in the report file



Note:
The report types Extended and Complete are not available in case the option Optimized scan in System ScannerScan in the right area Additional Settings is activated.
If you like to use the report types Extended and Complete, you first have to deactivate the option Optimized scan.
