How do I export/import my data from the Avira Password Manager app?

Avira Password Manager offers the possibility to export data from the app or import data from other password manager app.

NOTE
The data is exported as a CSV file and is unencrypted. Therefore, please make sure you store the file securely.

Export data

  1. Log In to your Avira Password Manager.
  2. Click the icon setting Settings icon in the left-hand menu.
  3. Scroll down to the “MY DATA” area and click Export data.
  4. Click Export CSV to save the file on your system.

Import data

  1. Log In to your Avira Password Manager.
  2. Click the icon setting Settings icon in the left-hand menu.
  3. Scroll down to the “MY DATA” area and click Import data.
  4. Click Import CSV file.
  5. Select the “CSV file” that you want to import.
    On the next page, you can see the file information organized in columns. As 3rd party password managers are storing the information in different order, you can change the type of the column in the top line as desired.
  6. Click Next.
  7. Select the passwords you want to import.
  8. Click Import.
