OnDemand-Scan cannot be started

In some rare cases it could be possible, that the OnDemand-Scan cannot be started when the user is logged in as an administrator (administrator account).

To solve this problem, deactivate the Advanced process protection:

  1. Open your Avira Control Center by double-clicking the Avira icon in your system tray
  2. Click on ExtrasConfiguration


  3. Go to GeneralSecurity and disable Advanced process protection


  4. Click OK to save your changes
