Avira Ranked #1 in Innovation, According to ABI Research

Tettnang, Germany --- March 13, 2013 – Security expert Avira announced today that the company’s security software was rated number one in Innovation, according to ABI Research.

The ranking is part of ABI Research’s Cyber Security Research Service. Full findings of the research can be found in ABI’s latest Internet Security Software Products Competitive Assessment.

According to the ABI report, Avira finished first in the innovation category due to its consistently high scores in independent software tests, its rich feature set in its product suites, and its strategic business model development. The ABI competitive assessment evaluated fifteen security software vendors and looked at feature set and technical capabilities in order to determine whether vendors offer a comprehensive Internet security product that goes beyond basic antivirus software.
