Business Development Manager Southern Europe (m/f)

Responsibilities:

Based in France, you will be responsible for the sales development in France, Spain and Portugal. In detail, you will

  • Screen the markets and identify opportunities
  • Focus on retail, online sales via partnerships (affiliates and download portals), B2B & B2C sales via partners/distributors and sell our core technologies to third parties
  • Check the existing partner base & programmes as well as the affiliate partners & programmes and optimize them
  • Screen the retail market and identify how Avira could enter this market
  • Demonstrate optimum usage of existing resources (HQ and marketing budget)
  • Due to your detailed market know-how, you will deliver outstanding results in a short period of time

Your profile:

  • At least 5 years of experience in business development & channel sales, ideally in an IT or technology company
  • Ideally, first experiences in developing a channel partner landscape and region from scratch with limited budget and resources
  • Due to your detailed market know-how, you will deliver great results in a short period of time.
  • Very good technical understanding and good knowledge of IT-security
  • Strong negotiation skills associated with a high success rate
  • Very good English language skills (spoken and written) as well as very good knowledge of Spanish or French (spoken and written)
  • Hands-on mentality and willingness to build the market by yourself
  • High customer and result orientation
  • Ideally, you will have lived and worked in Spain, Portugal or France
