Avira Teams Research Oktoberfest ‘Risks’

We are now halfway through Oktoberfest and so far the world’s biggest festival has seen around 3 million visitors coming in from all over the world, with unknown quantities of liquid bread, sausages, and pretzels consumed.

We are proud to report that a number of our Avira staff has been present there as well – and added to the above numbers of course!

It is all for the common good though. Just think of the havoc some hard pretzels or flat beer could cause?! It is essential for Avira staff – camouflaged in the traditional Dirndels and Lederhosen – to fully investigate everything that’s happening there.  And to make sure that we have the best possible overview, even some of our Bucharest and Tettnang colleagues took it upon themselves to drop by and elaborately test and sample the different attractions, tents, and local customs at the Wiesn 2015.

Just take a look at the photos below, they will show you how seriously our brave staff have taken their task!

By the way, did you realize that there are at least four apps for mobile phones – from both official and unofficial app stores –  to guide visitors through the wilds of Oktoberfest to find beer? Our employees are doing their best to analyze the ‘risks’. ; )
