Avira Free Android Security version 1.1 is an Android security app that is intended for all users who would like to protect their device as well as their privacy on the mobile. The application would not qualify as a widget, since it does not perform any specific functions on the device.

Avira Free Android Security is a free product. No license is required. Avira Free Android Security is available in English, German, French and Italian.

Product overview

Avira Free Android Security consists of two parts

• Avira Android Security app (on the device)
  Needs to be downloaded from Google Play and installed on the device.
  Afterwards a device registration is required.
• Avira Android Web Console
  With an assigned account the Web Console offers the possibility to remotely execute certain actions on the registered mobile.

On the Web Console, any user can have a maximum of 5 android devices managed using his own account.
