Trojan hides behind a Telekom invoice

Tettnang 29 August 2006 - Since this morning there are some emails in circulation which are supposed to be Telekom invoices with the subject line: "Ihre Telekom Rechnung“(your telekom invoice). In the email are written some invoice amounts which should lead the user to click on the attachment. In fact, the data contains a Trojan which hides behind a PDF document. Furthermore, when starting the data with a double click, the Trojan installs itself and than begins to download mal ware on the infected computer.

Avira AntiVir detects the Trojan „TR/Dldr.EbayBill.H “contained in the email since 29. August 2006. The Avira customers who have a current virus definition file are totally protected.
