North Rhine-Westphalia’s towns and municipalities uses security software of Avira
Tettnang, 17 July 2007 – Avira has concluded an agreement with the towns and municipalities of North Rhine-Westphalia. The office of the communal head association sets a good example in the protection of its IT systems because it has decided for the Avira AntiVir Small Business Bundle. The agreement establishes that the 360 members of the association will be provided with special conditions for all security products and services of Avira.
The communal establishments of the towns and municipalities of North Rhine-Westphalia have comprehensive security solutions of Avira at their disposal for diverse operating systems and IT environments. Besides anti-virus software and backup and recovery programs for Windows, the security experts also provide solutions for Linux, Symbian, Oracle and SAP.
“We are glad to have Avira for our members – a manufacturer with more than 20 years of expertise in the security market ”, says Dr. Lutz Gollan, consultant of North Rhine-Westphalia’s towns and municipalities. “The security solutions of Avira have obtained several awards and been successful in the public domain.
