Pasting the Code for Avira Alerts Panel into Your Website Pages
One of the easiest ways to add the code of Avira Alerts Panel to your website is to copy-paste the code from its webpage, in a proper place on your source-page. In addition to a simple copy and paste, you may eventually want to add some HTML code around the Avira Alerts Panel code to line it up on the page.
The instructions on this page will walk you through these steps.
- While you have this help page open in your browser, open your website source-page into a text editing application (such as Notepad) on your computer.
- Open Avira Alerts Panel page and select one of the default themes to use in your site (Avira Style, orange, blue, red, black&white), or a custom theme, choosing the Threats color, Title font color, Title background color, Border color and Background color.
- Here you can enable or disable the display of the Top Threats, Recent Threats, or Search subpanels. - To see the changes you made, press the Update Panel button. - Repeat these actions until the layout fits your needs.
- On the same Avira Alerts Panel page, you shall find the text box that has the code for the Alerts Panel (containing the configuration you made).
- Click once with your mouse inside the text box; the text should be selected automatically; otherwise, press Ctrl+A (Command-A on a Macintosh) to select all of the code in the box. - Press Ctrl+C (Command-C) to copy all of the code to the clipboard. - Switch to the text editing application and press Ctrl+V (Command-V) to paste the code into the text editing application, after choosing a proper location. - At this point, you may want to save the file.
- The Avira Alerts Panel should now be working in your website, but it may need some adjustments.
- If you want to change the color or alignment or any other aspect of the Avira Alerts Panel, you should repeat the steps 2 and 3, but making sure that you first deleted the entire code you copied at previous attempts. - Other formatting and alignment changes will require HTML code, and are beyond the scope of this online help.
