Proactive communication in terms of security

Tettnang, 4 May 2005 – Gernot Hacker (36) is the new Director Corporate Communications of H+BEDV Datentechnik GmbH, provider of cross-system business security solutions. The well-skilled security expert is in charge of the strategic positioning and communication of the company. In this position he will set on the further expansion of H+BEDV.
One of the major tasks of Mr. Hacker is the extensive communication of the entire service portfolio of H+BEDV. This, most notably, involves the positioning and profile of the company. Tjark Auerbach, CEO of H+BEDV Datentechnik GmbH, comments as follows: “H+BEDV has continually developed since its foundation. We now have a security expert who fully supports us with strategic decisions and who will actively bring forward the business processes“. Mr. Hacker defines the realization of business targets as follows: “H+BEDV will move from a product provider to a precursor for IT-security that acts with the comprehensive security concepts against the hazards of the Net.“
Gernot Hacker brings his long-year IT-security expertise into the business: he disposes of broad expertise in terms of technologies, security concepts and the market. He is familiarized with the demands companies have with IT-security concepts and the dangers company networks are exposed to. Gernot Hacker was Director of Technology at Sophos GmbH in Nieder-Olm (Germany). There he was in charge of the departments of IT, support and sales engineering. His career began at the ProSieben Media AG in the position of Virus Protection Representative and Exchange Administrator.
