Joint presentation of Avira and the new distributor Cetus-IT Secure at the IT´n’T in Vienna

Distribution agreement concluded end of 2006 – together in hall B, stand B0225 in the WienNeu exhibition center
Innsbruck / Tettnang, 16 January 2007 – Avira has concluded a distribution partnership with Cetus-IT Secure for Austria and the Eastern European countries of Hungary, Croatia, Slovenia and Bulgaria. Since the turn of the year, the value-added distributor (VAD) has been distributing the complete product range of Avira to specialist retailers and will act in future as a link between the vendor and the individual resellers and systems houses. The first joint presentation will be the IT’n’T: from 30 January to 1 February, the new partners will be presenting themselves in hall B, stand B0225 in the WienNeu exhibition center.
Visitors to the IT’n’T can obtain information in hall B, stand B0225 on the current IT security products of Avira. The highlight of the trade fair is the 64-bit server systems for Windows and Unix. In addition to exhibiting the products, Detlef Langrock, a security expert at Avira, will be giving a presentation on the subject of “Easy management of professional anti-virus solutions” on Thursday 1 February at 11:45 a.m. in hall B of the IT’n’T. Admission to the trade fair and presentations is free.

This and the extensive experience in IT security as well as the comprehensive business contacts also outside Austria convinced us to enter into the distribution partnership”, explains Tjark Auerbach, CEO and founder of Avira. “The aim of our co-operation is to permanently develop the market penetration of the security products of Avira in Eastern Europe.”
Cetus-IT Secure works both for industrial companies and for local authorities to cover the demand for reliable, cost-effective and highly efficient IT security solutions. Through the partnership agreement with the security specialist Avira, the distributor extends its range of services with a provider whose product portfolio – from virus protection to data back-up and recovery – has been established on the German market for more than 20 years. Cetus-IT Secure offers its resellers comprehensive training courses on IT security solutions and supports them in particular in the areas of support and presales.
