Files It copies itself to the following locations:
   • %SYSDIR%\sscool.scr
   • %WINDIR%\svchost.exe

A section is added to a file.
– To: %WINDIR%\win.ini With the following contents:
   • [win]
     temppath=%TEMPDIR%\

It deletes the initially executed copy of itself.

The following files are created:

– %SYSDIR%\3721_4.dll Furthermore it gets executed after it was fully created. Further investigation pointed out that this file is malware, too. Detected as: TR/Spy.Agent.NZ.7

– %TEMPDIR%\iehelp.ini
– c:\auto1.bat Furthermore it gets executed after it was fully created. This batch file is used to delete a file.

Registry It registers a browser helper object (BHO) by adding the following key:
