Files The following file is created:

– Non malicious file:
• %system drive root%\winhelpp.ini

It tries to download a file:

– The location is the following:
• http://**********town.aol.com.au/voegol001/foto1.jpg
It is saved on the local hard drive under: %WINDIR%\winhelpp.exe Furthermore this file gets executed after it was fully downloaded. Further investigation pointed out that this file is malware, too.

Registry The following registry keys are added:

– [HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run]
• "Gerenciador de Rede"="%WINDIR%\winhelpp.exe"

The malware program was written in Delphi.
