Depending on your system's environment, you can carry out a local uninstallation, or you can use the SMC.

Local uninstallation

Note: We generally recommend a backup before uninstallation!

Please stop all running AntiVir products, first!!

• $ /usr/lib/AntiVir/avguard stop
• $ /usr/lib/AntiVir/avmailgate stop
• $ /usr/lib/AntiVir/avwebgate stop
   
• $ mv -v /usr/lib/AntiVir /usr/lib/AntiVir-Backup
• $ find /etc -name "av*.conf" -exec mv -v {} /usr/lib/AntiVir-Backup \;

The corresponding runlevel scripts will be automatically adapted at reinstallation of the product, if you wish.

Uninstallation via SMC

1. Right-click on the computer, group or Security Environment.
2. Select Installation - <product> - Uninstall
