Avira Knowledge Base - Problem Details

After upgrading Windows Vista to Windows 7, the tray icon of AntiVir may show a closed red umbrella, because the AntiVir Control Center shows AntiVir Guard and the Online Protection as deactivated.

You only have to fix your AntiVir program, in order to activate the full protection:

1. Go to Start - Control Panel - Programs and Features
2. Click the AntiVir product's name and select the Change menu option above the list.
3. Click Next, select eventually all components, then click Next again, until Finish.
4. Restart the computer.

The problem is then solved.
