What is the meaning of the Windows message: "This program has known compatibility issues"?

Description

This message appears when using AntiVir 8 on a system with Windows Vista Service Pack 2.

According to Microsoft, there is a loss of functionality in AntiVir 8 after installing SP2 for Windows Vista:Microsoft KB article

Standalone users (AV Professional / AV Premium) are advised to upgrade to AV9!

This is not yet possible in case of AntiVir for KEN!, as we have not released the AV9 version. The users of AntiVir for KEN! have two other possibilities:

either not yet install Vista SP2 or (better)
deactivate the virus warning settings in the Windows Security Center
