We have the following hints, depending on your system's environment:
You have just installed the products:
You can run a new installation over a previous one. Relevant files will be automatically overwritten or saved.
With the new versions, new files are created, while other old ones may become obsolete. We recommend that you run a completely new installation of all version 3 products, to be sure there are no "file relics" left.
We have decided not to provide an automatic uninstaller, out of security reasons, because you might need to use some of the old files.
A new Updater is also integrated in version 3 products, to perform automatic updates, whenever new versions are released. Thus you need to carry out the installation only this one time.
You are using version 2 of Workstation (Unix) or Server (Unix):
Version 2 of our Workstation and Server products has been using Dazuko 2.x for the on-access scanner (AVGuard). When upgrading to version 3, this module is replaced with DazukoFS (Dazuko 3).
The migration is also possible, if running Dazuko 2. However, we recommend uninstalling the old Dazuko 2 module afterwards, which has to be done manually.

Please note, that we can offer support only for these Linux distributions or Unix versions!
You want to manage the new version 3 in SMC:
As SMC client component, the SMC Agent offers important means of communication between SMC and the product.
Along with the version 3 of our Unix products, a new SMC Agent version is released. Agent 2.4 is necessary for managing version 3 of the Unix products.
The previous Agent 1.8 is not compatible with version 3 of the Unix products! Reciprocally, Agent 2.4 is not compatible with the "old" Unix products. Here is the overview of compatible versions:
