Yes, during the migration of the Avira AntiVir products for Windows desktop (Premium, Premium Security Suite and Professional), there will be a reboot.
Note: The system has to be restarted, after uninstall, to remove all residual directories, files and registry entries.
Concerning Avira AntiVir Server (Windows), a restart is necessary, only if the installer detects an IFS filter and replaces it with Minifilters. However, a warning is displayed, to request a restart, so it does not happen without control. |
