Avira FAQ Details

The slide-up announcing the upgrade migration appears in the following products:

• Avira AntiVir Personal - FREE Antivirus (German)
• Avira AntiVir Premium 8.x
• Avira Premium Security Suite 8.x
• Avira AntiVir Professional 8.x (up to 20 Clients and without SMC management)

NOTE: The slide-up appears after you log off and then log on. If the slide-up closes, you can display it, by logging off and on again.

The slide-up does not appear, in case you use the English version of AntiVir Personal - FREE Antivirus, or the AntiVir Professional with a license for more than 20 clients, or with SMC Agent for SMC management.

If you use the English free version, AntiVir Personal, you will receive the slide-up later and then you can carry out the migration process. If you want to migrate sooner, you can do this manually, by installing the new version. You can find it on www.free-av.com

If you use AntiVir Professional on more than 20 Clients or with SMC management, you can also migrate manually, using a silent setup, or simply via SMC.
