The Firewall in AntiVir version 9 has been enhanced and it shows a slideup with information, depending on the security level you set.
The messages concern port scans, flooding, blocked applications and blocked IP addresses.
NOTE: If you do not notice any problems with the network or Internet access, and if the applications can freely access the Internet, these messages are only for information purposses and you do not need to take action.
If the messages distract you, you can activate the option Do not show this message again on the slideup, and they will not be displayed anymore. When you want to reactivate the slideups, you can use the Firewall configuration:
- Open AntiVir
- Go to Extras - Configuration and activate Expert mode
- Click on Firewall - Settings and activate the desired options under Notifications
