This function is available only for local access under Windows Vista. It cannot be used via SMC!
You can set this option in Configuration - Scanner - Scan - Further actions:
It is not activated by default, so you have to activate it, if you want.
When active, it ensures that the most important Windows system files are scanned, to detect new malware.
Caution: Please do not use this option, if you use third-party tools like Skinpacks, TuneUp Utilities or Vista Customization, which change system files and customize, for example, the boot or start screen. |
