Security made to measure: pre-configured and individual profiles
You can control the on demand scanner of the AV 7 through the TAB ”examine”. The AV 7 is supplied by default with pre-defined profiles where the examination of particular areas of your system (drives, hard drives, special directories) is determined. All you need to do is to click on the profile in order to examine the relevant areas.
You can always start a determined search run through the manual selection and you can individually determine its parameters (directories to be searched or files with or without sub-directories, file filter etc.).
You can save all profiles in the program or on the desktop. Then you can start them at the push of a button at any time and you can change them whenever you want.
You can interrupt, renew or stop the initiated search run by starting a profile (on demand scanner ”Luke Filewalker”). You can follow the search run itself online in the dialogue window of the on demand scanner. An advance bar signalizes, how advanced the examination is. The statistic displays further information such as the number of the files to be searched and folders, the number of detections etc.
The name of the last detection is also displayed. You can retrieve more detailed information about this detection through an online link. You can also retrieve the search run through the supplied protocol (”log file”) at the click of a mouse.
