Description:
ActiveX allows additional features in web pages. ActiveX calls and controls small programs stored on the computer. Normally these programs do not do anything harmful. These programs can often be used, by giving them malicious input parameters, to do malicious tasks. This generic rule detects the attempt to feed vulnerable ActiveX programs with malicious input.
