AV10: How can I install the new Avira Toolbar after updating to SP2?

You can install the new Avira Toolbar when the slide-up below is displayed in the lower-right corner of the screen:

Avira - New function - SearchFree Toolbar

  1. Click on the button Install now

    AntiVir Personal - Welcome - Modify
  2. Once the setup program has started, select "Modify" and press the Next-button
  3. Accept the End User License Agreement to install the Avira Toolbar with WebGuard

  4. Click on the button Next and make sure that the "AntiVir WebGuard" component is checked

  5. Click on Next and close the next window with Finish

  6. The window of the Configuration Wizard will open. However, since the configuration should be done after the restart, you can cancel it for now

  7. Select the Yes button to allow a system restart

Important note: WebGuard component will be only available as long as the new Avira Toolbar is installed.
