Avira Antivirus Security: Device cannot receive commands

If your device does not receive any command from your Avira account, please make sure you have disabled Restrict background data:

  1. Open the Settings
  2. Select Data usage under Wireless and networks
  3. Open the menu (using the menu key of your device or the menu button)
  4. Check the option Restrict background data
    The option should not be selected
