How can I change my Avira customer account details?

This article is intended to help you to modify your Avira My Account details.
You can change following data:
- email address
Other data (like a telephone number) are not required by Avira and therefore not deposited.
To modify your Avira My Account details you need to perform the following steps:
Go to the Login menu in the top right part of the Avira web site and click on it
Login to your Avira My Account
Use the same email address that you used to registered with at Avira
If you forgot your password, use the Forgot Password? feature
Alternatively you can use your Facebook account, providing that you have associated the same email address that you have registered with at Avira
Go to the My Profile menu to view your current profile information
Click in the field that you want to modify (e.g. in the field for your last name, to modify it)
The value for will become active and you can edit your details
You can also change your email adress.
Just click into the field for the email adress and change it. As soon as you have changed your email adress you have to use the new one to login to your Avira account in the future.
To save your changes click on the check mark on the right of the field
Once the changes have been saved you will be notified about it via a message
