What to do when "Unable to find the file ...\ccplg.xml" ?

After restoring Windows, the following error message may appear:
CCPLG.XML:
Unable to find the file (C:\Program Files\Avira\Avira Premium Security Suite\ccplg.xml)


Trying to uninstall AntiVir after this message, from the Control Panel, will fail. To repair AntiVir's installation, please do as described in the following article: Instructions for manual uninstallation and then reinstall AntiVir.
