Several days ago Oracle closed some security holes. However, this affects also Avira AntiVir Exchange, because our product also uses Oracle's Outside In library. Avira already fixed this and provide a new package which can be downloaded on our website.

To close this security hole, we recommend to install this package as soon as possible. To do so, please follow these steps:

1. Download the latest package from our website
2. Start the setup
3. Run the update

Note:
It might be possible that a restart of your system is necessary, depending on your system settings.

In case you cannot do a system restart right now, you can alternatively deactivate the job "Wall Content Filtering" to be protected nevertheless.

Customers of Avira Small Business Security Suite and Avira Business Security Suite

To close the security hole just simply follow the steps mentioned above. You don't have to reinstall the complete product but just the new Avira AntiVir Exchange package.
