The installation of Avira desktop products, version 2012, requires Windows XP with Service Pack 2
The installation of Avira Professional Security, Avira Free Antivirus, Avira Antivirus Premium 2012 und Avira Internet Security 2012 does not work anymore on a Windows XP operating system without Service Pack 2.
Please make sure that you have the latest patches and service packs installed before you start the setup of your Avira product.
