Tettnang, 17 April 2007 – The program Skype contains a worm called "Pykse". The worm turns the user mode from the Skype-Client into "Do not disturb" and then sends messages to all online contacts. This message contains a link, which installs the malware on the system.
According to the current technical expertise, "Pykse" does not show any further harmful functions. Avira AntiVir already recognizes the harmful program with the current virus definition (VDF) as "Worm/Pykse.A".
