Tettnang, 4 May 2007 - There are emails with a new Sober variant in the email boxes since some days. With subject lines such as "your password was changed!" or "your account was set up!" the worm induces the user to open the attachment.
AntiVir detected Worm/Sober already in advance with the heuristic as "Worm/Sober.GEN" and with the current update of the virus definition file as "Worm/Sober.AB". Please find more information in our virus description.
