Want to pay GEZ? Think again!
Mon, 15 January 2007
Tettnang, 15 January 2006 - Emails with false GEZ(Central radio and television toll collecting agency) invoices started to spread yesterday. Attention! The attachment contains a Trojan, spying for personal data. Like the Trojan from last Monday, which pretended to be an invoice from the DSL provider 1&1, the false invoice demands payment of a three-digit amount.
The attachment contains the PDF file "RechnungGEZ.pdf.exe", hiding the actual malware. If AntiVir is active on your system, you are fully protected, as the software has immediately detected the Trojan as "HEUR/Malware" and the current VDF classifies it as "TR/Dldr.iBill.C".
