A worm hidden in the storm

Tettnang, 22 January 2007 - The wave of news about Kyrill hurricane brought a heavy message! It is an email pretending to contain sensational information about Kyrill hurricane. In fact it is a Trojan, the so-called "storm worm", which turns to action when the attachment is opened!

The attached files, named FullClip.exe, FullStory.exe or FullVideo.exe, are infected with the Trojan TR/Dldr.Small.DBX. This loads the affected computer with even more malware. Further versions of this Trojan have been spotted during the weekend.

If your Avira AntiVir is up-to-date, you are protected against all versions of this malware!
