Avira enters the French professional data security market

The IT security software developer used the IT Partners trade show as its stage to launch its new certification program and organize its French distribution network

Paris, 03 February 2010 – Avira, a pioneer in IT-security with almost 25 years in the marketplace and more than 100 million users worldwide, announced its entry into the French market by participating in the IT Partners 2010 trade show, where it unveiled its first distribution program aimed at the French professional market.

The certification program will provide support for the marketing of the award-winning AntiVir product line, designed to protect companies of all sizes, including large corporations, SME's and small businesses. Avira solutions meet the full range of business protection and security needs, from the individual workstation to messaging servers and the Internet.

Avira’s product line includes three different solutions, adapted to each business's particular needs and structure:

In order to better address the needs of the professional market, Avira is now seeking partnerships with IT-security specialists and resellers. The Avira program team will provide all necessary sales support, including training, technical support, and marketing programs.
