Avira concludes partnership with n.runs

The IT security experts and the consulting firm n.runs are expanding together in the B2B market
Tettnang, 21 October 2008 – Avira focuses on growth in the security sector with a new technological partner in the business sector. An expanding product portfolio takes center stage for the IT security company and the IT consulting firm n.runs. The first projects are being prepared ‘Systems’ in Munich. n.runs is among the leading service companies specialized in non-proprietary IT security.
“In our consulting session we first establish the customer’s IT security requirements so we can recommend and provide the customer a tailor-made solution”, explains Stefan Tewes, Director Sales, Marketing & Business Development at n.runs. “The reason why Avira is among the founders of the initiative ITSMIG e.V. (IT Security Made in Germany) strengthens the quality mark and the trustworthiness of IT security Made in Germany, especially because of the refusing of all loopholes in the software.“ The most important reasons we choose to have a strategic relationship with Avira for was above-average detection rate in the AntiVir solutions as well as the German and English speaking support. “We deal with important processes every day and economical aspects of companies in the areas of IT security and IT infrastructure – we know what is important to the customers and want to offer them first-class solutions”, adds Tewes.

The n.runs AG was founded in 2001 with its headquarters in Oberursel, and has established itself on the market as a developer-independent and neutral consulting company for the sectors of IT security, IT infrastructure and IT-Business, as well as in its capacity as a solutions developer. The services provided by this vendor pursue a comprehensive approach and encompass auditing/assessment, design, support in the application of the latest technologies, along with process consulting and knowledge transfer.
