28 July 2008 – On Thursday the 17th July Avira released new versions of Avira AntiVir Personal, AntiVir Premium, Premium Security Suite as well as antivirus solutions for Windows and ISA server. Due to additional bandwidth, which has been increased to 10 GBit temporarily, and the load distributed across 10 servers, it was possible to supply the update by Monday the 21 July without difficulty to all requesting users. The load on the servers has, since the 21 July, returned to normal levels.
