Rainer Witzgall new Executive Vice President
Tettnang, 21 March 2006 - The security specialist Avira builds up the team in order to spur on his way to expansion. From this very moment, Rainer Witzgall (42) is the new Executive Vice President. In this position he is responsible for the national and international sales of the Avira security solutions for both business and private users. Therefore, Rainer Witzgall reports directly to Mr. Tjark Auerbach, the CEO of Avira.
The new head of sales intends to continue the success story of the former H+BEDV under its new name: Avira. Consequently, and in order to bring the company to new growth, Rainer Witzgall mainly wants to establish international sales and OEM partnerships. Furthermore, the existing contacts will be intensified and the customer retention will certainly be increased through a smooth migration from direct to indirect sales.
“Rainer Witzgall has almost two decades of experience in the international market and is very well acquainted with the IT line”, explains Tjark Auerbach CEO of Avira. “A man with such a background perfectly matches our expansion course. Moreover, our target markets will soon take advantage of the synergy effects from the business and private customers.
