In order to expand our team we are searching for a
Software Engineer (m/f) for test automation Windows
Job discription:
- Development and maintenance of applications for quality assurance of the Avira product range in all IT security areas (anti-virus, firewall, anti-spam, …)
- Planning, conception, realization and maintenance of test automation and testtools
- Planning, conception, realization and evaluation as well as maintenance/improvement of test cases and scenarios
- Planning, conception, realization and evaluation of volume and performance tests
- Set-up, operation and maintenance of test platforms and hardware
- Extension of the test infrastructure
- Evaluation and use of adequate test tools
- Conception of test plans and test management
- Error management
- Documentation of the above mentioned points
Your profile:
Required qualifications:
- University degree in computer science or equivalent in a relevant discipline
- Experience in software development or quality assurance, preferably in IT security
- Programming expertise under Windows (C, C++, VBScript, PHP)
- Fast understanding of complicated issues
- High sense of responsibility and commitment
- Can work independently
- Teamplayer
- Very flexible and readiness for action
- Fluent in German and English
Preferable additional skills:
- ISTQB Certified Tester or similar
- Expertise in the Windows security area (firewall, anti-virus, anti-spam, anti-rootkit, HIPS, network security, …)
- Skills in network protocols (TCP/IP, UDP, SMTP, FTP, POP3, …)
- Basic skills in UNIX/ Linux
- Microsoft certifications (e. g. MCSE)
- Can speak Romanian or other foreign languages
