Technical Account Manager (m/f)
for OEM & Technology Integration – EMEA

Our OEM & Technology Integration Division takes care of all OEM and technology integration projects. Our customers are usually other IT vendors or manufacturers, who sell their solution in the international or regional markets, and our technologies are only one component in their product portfolio, but not the solution itself.

Do you enjoy working with large Enterprise customers and understand what it takes to achieve the highest levels of Malware Security for individual environments? Can you identify the right security solutions in a broad range of software environments and IT infrastructures? Does understanding specific security technologies and being an expert at describing their value interest you?
Avira OEM & Technology Integration helps customers to extend their solutions with the leading Avira security technologies. We are a global team of exceptional people who lead our customers to an efficient and successful technical integration to secure their customers environment.
The Technical Account Manager (TAM) for EMEA provides technical assistance to our sales and business development teams during the sales process and interacting with technical teams for defining the software requirements and project deliverables. He/She defines project scopes and developing solution proposals in response to the customer's requirements and needs as well as translates customers' business requirements to adequate software requirements.
The TAM for EMEA
- Is the trusted advisor to the account’s product manager and the R&D department
- Manages all technical aspects during pre- and post-sales
- Supports during technical evaluation and implementation of our security technologies
- Is knowledgeable about a wide range of software architectures, middleware concepts and web- and cloud service solutions as well as IT infrastructures
Your qualifications:
- At least 2 years of verifiable experience and achievement in a software technical area in roles such as project manager, developer, solution architect, etc.
- Knowledge of the programming languages (in particular C/C++), software architectures, middleware concepts
- Must have worked with offshore execution teams
- Competency in building customer/partner relationships, strategic insight and product & technology expertise
- Very good understanding of security software
- The mastering of the English (fluent writing and speaking) is a must
- Openness to work with different languages and cultures
- Must be self-driven and motivated to achieve success
- Must have excellent communication and inter-personal skills
