Employee (m/f) for Community QA – focus Windows

You will supervise software tests and Windows workshops at customers’ and partners’ premises. You ensure product stability and thus a high degree of customer satisfaction through your commitment, communication skills and specialist expertise. You will guarantee smooth operations through ongoing analysis of bugs and processes.

Our challenges:

  • You will conduct software tests in Windows environments and will supervise and support our partners and customers in performing such tests.
  • You will conduct a variety of workshops to serve our partners and customers.
  • You will conduct additional tests in the testing laboratories of other software developers.
  • Your analytical skills and ability to think outside the box allow you to actively participate in the ongoing development and optimisation of process flows.
  • You will be responsible for retesting and reproducing known bugs and will work in close contact with the Development Department.
  • You will prepare bug reports to document and further investigate bugs.
  • You will actively participate in various (security) forums.

Your qualifications:

  • Completed vocational training in IT or comparable training
  • In-depth knowledge in the areas of:
    • MS Windows Server and Client operating systems
    • MS Active Directory 2000/2003/2008
    • MS Exchange 2000/2003/2007
    • Knowledge of mail servers and proxy servers
    • Networks (TCP/IP, DNS and Routing)
  • Microsoft certifications (e.g. MCSE, MCITP)
  • Sound command of written and spoken German and English
  • Analytical skills
  • Ability to work in a team
  • Ability to work independently
  • Flexibility and resilience
  • You like to work in teams and you communicate effectively

Desirable additional skills:

  • Knowledge in script languages (e.g. AutoIt, Python, Perl, JavaScript)
  • Knowledge in programming languages (e.g. C++)
  • Knowledge in the current Regex dialects
  • Experience with agile processes
